Good question, and the answer is "Yes and no".
Let me start of by saying that you can (as in: "you are allowed" to) use the theme on any number of sites once you have it. This is because the theme (just like WP) is so called GPL licensed. More on the GPL license can be found here; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GNU_General_Public_License. So once you have the theme, you are allowed to use that theme on any number of sites without limitations. Be aware of the following though;
When you buy a theme, you get more than "just" the zip file which represents the theme. In addition to the zip file, you will also get one or more licenses for specific services we offer "on top of" the theme itself. Let me try to zoom in on that;
* We will only be able to provide answers to questions you might address to us, if you have a valid support license. The support license is constrained; you can only use it for one site, and that license expires after one year. For additional sites, you will need an additional support license. If you don't need support for that site, you don't need such a support license.
* We add new features and fix bugs and security issues on a periodic basis for each of our themes; to get those updates for a site, you will need to have an update license. You obtains an update license by making a purchase of a theme. This update license is valid for one year and can only be used on one website. For additional sites, you will need an additional update license, if you want updates for that other site too. If you don't want the updates then you don't need such a license.
* Some features in our themes are dependent upon services that we (or partners of us, or other vendors) provide. For example in order for the Google Maps widget to render properly, it needs to know to which GPS latitude and longitude position a physical address corresponds. Or in order to use data from the ixplatform.com website, a specific license could be required. Whether or not thats the case is dependent upon the feature. In order for these features to work properly, a valid license could optionally be needed.
